MarineEngines4Less.com guarantees every item(s) we have up for auction or for sale in any of our stores is 100% as represented and clearly pictured. The item is guaranteed to function as described and expected.

Should a product sold by Marine Engines 4 Less not be functioning to the customer’s expectation, we encourage open communication with our company. We are here to assist and make your experience with our company a positive one.

PARTS RETURN POLICY

We make every effort to carefully describe each item. With that in mind, Marine Engines 4 Less offers a 7 day return policy from date of receipt. We make our return policy easy:

If the item received is not what was ordered and is a mistake on our end, we cover return shipping and waive any restocking fees. We offer a full refund or exchange in this case.

If the item received was clearly as described but ordered by mistake or ordered using incorrect information, we will not cover return shipping and may charge a 15% restocking fee. We will offer a refund minus any applicable shipping charges and restocking fees or an exchange.

An RGA number must be issued before any part can be sent back to our facility for return or exchange.

ENGINE RETURN POLICY

New and remanufactured engines purchased from Marine Engines 4 Less are not returnable unless they are not as described. All of our product listings include several pictures, specifications, and a detailed description of what that listing is advertising. It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure that they purchase the correct and compatible engine for their application. Our sales team is more than willing to assist with this process via telephone +1 877-639-2881 or via email info@marineengines4less.com. We ask that our customers accurately provide their boat’s year and model, engine’s serial number, and other pertinent information to make sure that the correct replacement engine is provided.

Engines that have been installed and run cannot be returned for any reason other than warranty inspection, warranty repair, or warranty replacement. A warranty inspection number must be issued before any engine can be sent back to our facility for warranty inspection.

New & Remanufactured Marine Engine Warranty:

All of our new and remanufactured marine base engines, marine extended base engines, and complete marine base engines come with a limited 1 year parts and labor manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty is provided in writing and is delivered with the engine. Please be sure to read and complete the warranty paperwork after installing the engine, as this paperwork will be needed should a warranty claim be required. Failure to return the warranty registration within the 30 days of receipt will void the original warranty and make it a 90 day warranty instead of a 1 year warranty.

New & Remanufactured Cylinder Head Warranty:

All of our new and remanufactured complete cylinder heads are warranted against manufacturer’s defects for one year from the original purchase date. This is a parts only warranty and does not cover labor. Cylinder heads are shipped with a “heat tab” on them. Cylinder heads that are returned for warranty inspection with the heat tab removed will automatically be deemed un-warrantable and any written or implied warranty void.

Bobtail “Drop-in” Marine Engine Warranty:

Our complete BARR and Indmar drop-in ready bobtail marine engines come with a 2 year parts and labor warranty provided by the manufacturer. A copy of that warranty policy can be seen here

Mercruiser drop-in ready bobtail marine engines come with a 1 year warranty, however, a 3 year warranty does come with specific part numbers. This warranty is through the manufacturer (Mercruiser). A warranty registration card will be provided with the engine package and must be returned per Mercruiser’s instructions.
