The 5.7L MPI Alpha Turn Key Quicksilver engine package is the perfect repower to replace 5.0 EFI, 5.0L MPI, 5.7L EFI, & 350 MPI sterndrive Alpha models. This engine package is 100% complete and ready to drop in and connect to your transom and sterndrive.

Engine Features 100% new Quicksilver: Cast Iron Engine Block, Raw Water Cooling with Warm Exhaust Manifolds, Flush System, Special Flame Graphics, Multi‑Port Fuel Injection using Cool fuel II, Dry Joint Exhaust, Roller Camshaft, Quicksilver Cast Iron Cylinder Heads featuring Black‑X Valve Tech, 1.5:1 stamped rocker arms, ECM555, Engine Guardian, SmartCraft Ready, Mechanical Throttle and Shift, and 10‑Pin Harness. Runs on 87 Octane Fuel.
NOTE: If used with an Alpha One (Gen I) drive, this engine requires Seawater Pump Kit 46‑8M0139983 & serpentine belt 57‑865615Q03 (sold separately) for proper cooling.

About Mercruiser's Plus Series Engines
The PLUS‑SERIES ENGINES from QUICKSILVER are 100% new construction, and contain all the parts a CRATE ENGINE lacks. These are drop‑in‑ready new marine engines. Based on popular MerCruiser and Mercury Remanufacturing models, these are 100% new engines that are built with marine‑grade engine internals and other NEW marine components. QUICKSILVER PLUS‑SERIES engines are 100% new factory engines for repowering classic boats built before 2008 in California, and prior 2010 for the other 49‑states. Because these are completely new engines and not a major repair assembly, the old engine being replaced is to be returned per EPA 1068.240.
Since the focus of PLUS‑SERIES ENGINES is repower, many parts included in new MerCruiser engines used for new boat construction are not included. Parts such as: transoms, trim pumps, Y‑Pipes, rigging, props, boat harnesses, riser kits, closed cooling kits, steering cylinders, lubes, and many other parts required for a successful repower must all be purchased separately.
Adapting Plus Series engines to specific applications may require some parts to be transferred from the engines coming out of the boat or purchased separately. Examples include:
- Transfer of flywheel housings, couplers, and other hardware to adapt to various makes of drives and transoms
- Changing engine couplers to match specific transmissions, or customer preferences
- Changing engine mounts from front to side, or using solid engine mounts
- Use of various Quicksilver kits to meet customer preferences or the specified installation requirements found in the Repower Reference Manual included with the engine

Domestic:
We strive to ship our products as quickly as possible. Most in stock small package (part) items will ship the same business day as long as the purchase is made before 3PM EST. Some items will not ship the same day. For in stock engines, the shipping lead time is 1-3 business days depending on the part number. For engines that are not in stock there will be a lead time. The engine will not be available for purchase if it is an engine we cannot get or build. For up to date lead time information and for time sensitive orders, please reach out to Marine Engines 4 Less before you place the order. For small package (parts) shipments: we will ship by whichever method you select during checkout. Free shipping options (if applicable) will be shipped via UPS or FedEx ground. Free shipping is only available to customers within the continental USA. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and other US territories are not eligible for free freight. International shipping options are available for our worldwide customers. We use UPS and FedEx to ship worldwide. VAT and any other customs charges are not covered by Marine Engines 4 Less. The carrier will reach out to you to collect those charges independently. Lead times on small part items are expressed in the ad. For time sensitive shipments, it is best to reach out to us to confirm availability before purchasing.
For freight item (engine) shipments: For larger and heavier shipments, LTL freight is used to ship. Shipping costs will be calculated in the shopping cart. It is imperative to put correct contact information down in the shipping details. Freight companies will often need to reach out to you to arrange an appointment, or to verify other details. Incorrect shipping details will only delay your delivery. For shipping rates outside the United States, please reach out to our sales team for shipping costs and options. The website cannot accurately calculate LTL freight shipment outside the United States. For international shipments, the freight costs do not include VAT and other duties/taxes that your respective country charges. For VAT, tax and duty estimates, please reach out to us.
Some LTL freight companies will charge more for deliveries deemed to be "limited access", residential, or require an appointment or lift gate. If you feel as though your shipment may need one of these accessoral options, please reach out to us for an accurate shipping quote.

For small engine parts less than 150 LBS, we ship via UPS or FedEx. Shipping rates will be calculated in your shopping cart. These shipping rates do not include VAT, duties, or customs charges that your respective country may charge.
